Davvero Italy
I create customized itineraries so you can really explore Italy. Hence the name "davvero" - which loosely translates to "really" or "for real" in Italian.
Discover Italy for REAL and travel deeper. From the underground, under the radar hidden gems and popular local spots in the city center to the off-the-beaten path & frozen-in-time Italian villages. This is truly a new concept: Immersive, custom travel where everything is tailored to you - the most unique, authentic experience with real Italians done in a special way.
Davvero Italy is slow travel & sustainable tourism redefined, promoting respectful and responsible travel that is low impact. Where you're not only supporting Italian local businesses but in some cases helping the actual towns in which they live in - and every interaction is a positive one where meaningful connections are made for a lifetime.
Experience Italy not only through the eyes of a local but actually with locals. This is the only way to discover the heart
and soul of the country – by interacting with the natives and having them introduce you to their home. This is Italy - for real.
An Italian-American from Brooklyn, former NY ad exec turned expat, I left everything I had behind to start a new life here in Italy. And now I am finally doing something meaningful and that I love - connecting those visiting Italy to the most authentic people, places and passionate local experts, making sure their experience is as authentic as it is unique and unforgettable.
I am passionate about all things Italian...especially when it comes to food & drink. When I'm not roaming around Italy to check out new people & places, I'm writing about it on my Davvero Blog.
I’ve also managed to become part of the close-knit and beautiful bar community in Rome and Italy, which is another project I am working on currently…

I only work with a handful of small businesses, Italian owned and operated who in turn, also generate jobs for Italians. Sustainable, slow tourism that preserves and respects the community. But more than that...
I want to give back to the country I now call my home, creating opportunities for the locals, promoting their already established businesses, or helping them to launch their ideas into one. And maybe in a small way contributing to the bigger picture. I connect tourists craving an authentic 'Made in Italy' experience to the locals actually doing it. So Italians can share their passions, products, businesses and their home to those visiting.
A beautiful exchange and experience for all parties involved that leaves a positive long-lasting impact on both sides is something wonderful to witness - and even more amazing to be a part of.
After all, isn’t traveling (and life in general) all about the genuine experiences, relationships, and connections you make along the way?
